In this game, you step into the shoes of an office worker juggling a simple but crucial task list. Each morning, your boss, a stormy figure known for his volatile nature, assigns you three essential tasks. Your challenge is to complete these tasks efficiently before the boss returns from his unpredictable activities—whether it's a client lunch, a golf game, or a corporate workshop.

Fail to finish your tasks before the boss arrives, and you’ll find yourself with less time the next day to complete new assignments. Can you stay ahead of the storm and prove your worth?

My Responbilitys

In September 2024, I took part in the Brackeys Game Jam 2024.2, which lasted a week. I was tasked with making a game based on a specific theme: "Calm before the storm." I began by drafting game ideas centered around the theme. I had always wanted to create a game where the player takes on the role of an intern in an office, so I designed my game around that concept while incorporating the Game Jam theme.

 

Alongside my full-time job, I spent my evenings that week developing the game with a simple MVP in mind, allowing room for updates depending on the time available. I handled all aspects of the project except for the art assets, which I sourced from the Unity Asset Store. This significantly sped up production! After a week of development, I successfully published the game on Itch.io and awaited the results. A couple of weeks later, the results were announced—my game ranked 268th out of 1,486 entries.I would love to revisit this project in the future, refine it further, and eventually release an improved version.
